How we handle the personal data you share with us through this website.

Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data processed through this website is RenIQ s.r.o., Repašského 20, 841 02 Bratislava, Slovakia. You can reach us about anything in this notice at support@reniq.eu. RenIQ is the public brand under which RenIQ s.r.o. operates.
What this notice covers
This notice explains how we handle personal data when you visit this website or send us an enquiry through the contact form. It does not cover processing under a separately agreed consulting engagement, which is governed by the terms of that engagement.
Data we collect
When you submit the contact form, we currently collect the following. Only the first three are required; the rest are optional or captured automatically, and an enquiry without them is accepted normally.
- Full name
- Work email
- Your message
- Company, if you choose to give it
- Selected activity, if you choose to select one
- The service you were looking at, when you reached the form from a service page. It is recorded as context alongside the message you wrote, never instead of it.
- UTM source, medium and campaign parameters, when present in the page URL
- The website you arrived from, when your browser provides one. We keep only its origin, for example https://example.com, never the full address of the page you were on.
To protect the contact form against automated abuse, we also process your IP address and the email address you enter at the moment of submission to derive keyed, non-reversible rate-limiting codes. Raw IP addresses are not stored and the codes cannot be turned back into your address. Each code stops being used within hours of submission; expired codes are removed automatically as later submissions are processed, and during routine maintenance.
When you browse the site, technical and usage information is processed by our hosting platform and by Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel describes Web Analytics as cookie-free and based on anonymised data; see the Vercel Web Analytics privacy documentation for how it works.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
We process this data for distinct purposes, each with its own legal basis:
- Responding to your enquiry. We use your contact details and message to review your enquiry, reply and take the steps you request before any contract, on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Operating and improving the website. We rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in operating, securing and understanding the use of this website, including the attribution parameters and the abuse-prevention processing described above.
- Meeting legal obligations. Where a legal obligation applies to us, we process data as required under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Who receives your data
We share personal data only where needed to run the website and handle enquiries:
- Supabase stores enquiries submitted through the contact form.
- Resend delivers the internal alert that tells us an enquiry is waiting. What Resend receives is a pseudonymous internal enquiry identifier and the technical email-delivery metadata needed to deliver that alert to our own mailbox. The identifier is a random reference number that means nothing on its own, but we can match it back to your enquiry, so we treat it as relating to you rather than as anonymous. The alert carries no enquiry content: your name, email address, company, selected activity, the service you were looking at and your message are not sent to Resend and stay in the enquiry database, which only we can read.
- Vercel hosts the website and provides Web Analytics.
- Professional advisers, only where necessary and legally permitted.
RenIQ s.r.o. does not sell personal data.
Where your data is processed
Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are subject to applicable safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses used by the provider.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as it is needed to assess and respond to the enquiry and any follow-up conversation, and after that only while we have a legitimate business reason to retain it or a legal obligation requires it. When none of those criteria applies any longer, the data is deleted.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and its legal basis, the GDPR gives you rights over your personal data. These can include access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. Not every right applies in every situation; we will explain what applies when you contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Slovakia the Office for Personal Data Protection. Its explanation of data-subject rights is at dataprotection.gov.sk.
Do not send sensitive material through the form
The public contact form is for initial enquiries only. Please do not send application files, credentials, identification documents, special-category data or any other sensitive or confidential material through it. If an engagement requires exchanging such material, we agree a secure channel with you first, after the initial contact.
The form has no upload control and never asks for a document. Nothing you submit through it is treated as a secure transfer.
How to contact us about privacy
For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, email support@reniq.eu or write to RenIQ s.r.o., Repašského 20, 841 02 Bratislava, Slovakia.
